Raymond Puttick BA Hons FCA CTA
Educated in Chard, Somerset and at Exeter University, he trained in Exeter before joining the firm in 1983. A Director with a wealth of experience in the taxation and auditing requirements for the small business or company and is well skilled in computer applications. He has the taken on the role of Administration Director for the company, after the retirement of John Eaton in 2000. A keen sportsman, he is a qualified badminton and table tennis coach who voluntarily coaches both juniors and adults in the locality in both sports.

Christopher Timms BSc FCA
Educated in the West Country, he trained in Tavistock before joining the practice in 1984. He has substantial experience in Executorship and Estate administration and areas of specialist knowledge including Farming, Personal Taxation and Inheritance Tax. Chris enjoys all sports, and is a single figure handicap golfer. |

Michael Jones FCA
Having been locally educated, he initially joined the practice in 1979, followed by various periods of training in both Liverpool and Exeter. Based at the Ottery St. Mary office he has a wide experience of all business matters, and aims to provide a totally integrated service for his clients, many of whom have been with him throughout that time. |
Christopher Hodge BSc ACA
Having trained with the practice from university, he has progressed through all levels to his current standing as a Chartered Accountant. A Registered Auditor and specialist in company formation and legislation, as well as providing an overall ability to review and distill technical information relevant to the client.

Nigel Gigg AFA
Joined the firm from school in 1983 and once again has progressed through the team structure to reach Accounts and Information Technology Director. He advises with regard to computer installations and the many accounting packages available today. Fully mobile, he ensures that clients achieve the degree of success they deserve from computer use. Nigel is a keen golfer, having recently ‘found’ the game, once more, following a break to concentrate on family commitments. He also assists at West Hill Junior Football, whenever possible. |
Stephen Childs BSc (Econ) Hons FCA NDA
After gaining his Economics degree and lecturing at Seale Hayne Agricultural College for 3 years he joined the Exeter office of one of the largest Accountancy firms in the UK and qualified in 1977. He operated as a sole practitioner with 3 members of staff for 26 years before merging with the practice in 2006. Stephen brings with him a great deal of experience gathered over many years of acting for a broad base of clients. In his spare time he and his wife keep a small flock of sheep on their 28 acres and he also plays Solo Tenor Horn with the Honiton band. |

Rachel Keeley FMAAT
One of the Firm’s Accounts Managers and resident Payroll expert, managing the latest technology to provide bureau style services. She has full knowledge of bookkeeping systems and the management thereof. She will review and advise regarding both manual and computerised systems. Rachel also deals with the managing of a large client base of Limited Management Companies, along with advising clients on VAT matters and completion of VAT Returns, both manually and online. Outside of work Rachel enjoys playing netball for teams in both Honiton and Weymouth, whilst also enjoying the thrills and spills of motor racing. |
| Mark Sweet MAAT ATT
Based in the Ottery St Mary office he has been trained and educated within the firm, having joined in 1988, rising to Office Manager status. Dealing directly with many clients he has an extensive knowledge of all Accountancy and Taxation matters, and is always responsive to his clients' requirements. |

Barbara Hodgson FCA
Educated in Workington, Cumbria and at Bradford University, she trained and qualified in London with BDO Stoy Hayward, and then spent a year with top firm Touché Ross, before moving to Dorset. After spending a number of years working in the Dorset/Hampshire area she took a career break to have children and joined the practice in 1992. Based at Ottery St Mary, Barbara specialises in personal tax and accountancy matters with an emphasis on client service and care. In her spare time she is currently Treasurer of the Ottery St Mary Chamber of Commerce as well as working as a volunteer with the Force Cancer Charity in Exeter. |
